Hawthorn Berry known as the Heart Tonic has antispasmodic, cardiac, diuretic, and sedative characteristics.

Hawthorn, unlike other cardio-stimulants, slowly act on circulatory and cardiovascular disorders via causing dilation of the blood vessels, especially the coronary arteries, and by causing some reduction in blood pressure.

Another benefit of Hawthorn on the heart and blood vessels is how it may help improve coronary artery blood flow and the overall strength of the heart muscle.
